Josh Holubs grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia. He spent much of his time hiking and fishing the Etowah River watershed, and learned how to tie flies in his early teens. A few years later, he began pursuing trout with a fly rod, throughout N. Georgia.
After serving as an Infantry Rifleman in Operation Iraqi Freedom—where he earned a Purple Heart during the 2007 Battle of Baqubah—fly tying and fly fishing were both a part of his recovery. Fly fishing has been Josh’s therapy, his distraction when he needs it, and his tool for introspection and self-mastery. It has allowed him to reconnect with the parts of himself that were injured—the parts which he thought he had lost. Peace is not found—it is cultivated—and fly fishing has been a huge part of that, for Josh.
He is retired from The Army, is an active member of his local Trout Unlimited Chapter, and volunteers as an instructor & guide to Veterans & kids who are learning the sport of fly fishing. His goal is to continue to heal, and to continue to share his passion with others—especially Veterans who are also battling PTS—and to see more Warriors find their peace, by demonstrating an effective coping mechanism.

This is Jack Lariz a fly fisherman with roots to the Northeast he call's the rich waters of Long Island and Nantucket is his home. Living in close proximity to the coast comes with ample opportunities to fish for striped bass, bluefish, Bonita, and false Albacore on a fly. He frequents his alma mater, the green mountain state of Vermont in search of Smallmouth, Pike, Musky, Bowfin, and lake Trout. When he's not fishing the Northeast he loved doing some destination angling to hunt down some bucket list species.
